The rohlarta-kharn’s double-bladed appearance is unmistakable; two heavy blades protrude from either side of a horizontal crossbeam, held lengthways across one’s bicep (much as one would grasp an ordinary shaki). Crovalahn warriors wield these powerful weapons with the shocking proficiency their race is infamous for, and the dual-bladed weapon allows flawless disarming and tripping techniques. While the rohlarta-kharn is arguably a crovalahn racial weapon, many human and galagi warriors are seen wielding these swift, powerful blades in combat. As the crovalahn’s rohlarta-kharn are typically fashioned from dark iron, only those of their hideous species can touch the glossy-black handle without being burned. Otherwise, rohlarta-kharn built by other races are forged from metal or stone, with a handle constructed of similar materials supported by wood or bamboo.
